Arunima Chakravarty Khadikar is an architect, educator, and artist whose work reflects a deep appreciation for India's artistic traditions. She completed her Master's degree from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. She also holds a B.Arch from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
Professionally, Arunima has worked with leading landscape design practices including Terra Firma Design Studio, gaining experience in the relationship between landscape, culture, and design. Alongside her architectural career, she has nurtured a strong passion for fine arts since her school years.
Her travels across India have deepened her understanding of the country's diverse artistic traditions and cultural narratives. She has been particularly inspired by Pattachitra, a classical Indian folk art known for its intricate detailing and storytelling. Drawing from this tradition, Arunima has created several original artworks that blend traditional motifs with her contemporary design perspective.
She is now translating her art into lifestyle products, including canvas bags featuring her original illustrations — bringing traditional Indian art into everyday life through thoughtful design and storytelling.
